Abstract:
The proceedings contain 53 papers. The topics discussed include: ontology design patterns with cascaded role sets; modeling cognitive modules with web ontology language: a functional architecture of the mind; conceptual scaling of RDFS ontologies; a proposal for primitive decomposition of spatial orientation relationships; generics in defeasible reasoning: exceptionality, gradability and content sensitivity; conceptual shadows: visualizing concept-specific dimensions of meaning in word embeddings with self-organizing maps; foundations for a realist ontology of mental representation; transforming geospatial ontologies by homomorphisms; a unifying approach to boundaries and multidimensional mereotopology; an ontological approach to compliance verification of the nis 2 directive; and DaanKG: an ontology model of the UN sustainable development goals to facilitate and improve corporate social responsibility.
