The Human Capital Cross-KIC activities focus on building structural bridges between the different KIC’s, with a focus on the domain of Human Capital and the Education leg of the knowledge triangle. By building these bridges, the project continuously supports the individual KIC’s in their general and domain related mission and their attainment of long term sustainability. The Cross-KIC Human Capital activity does this by focusing on two ways of value creation: through enabling synergies and through the facilitation of cross-KIC knowledge creation, sharing and best practice dissemination. The activities are either set up shared activities or collaborative projects. Here, the Cross-KIC project focuses on the bridge building, while keeping the content development positioned within the KIC’s. The activity is developed in full collaboration with EIT HQ and related to the long-term impact of EIT education on European work-force and citizens. Aiming towards modernisation of education in Europe, it strives to increase innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of learners in, and for, Europe, with student-centred education approaches in an aligned teaching modes. While aimed mostly towards higher education, significant efforts are made towards professional training as well as bringing an EIT-directed learning approach towards schooland pupils. The activity covers also the extension of the EIT Label to smaller modules, a common EIT delivery mechanism and a learning analytics approach.
