Innovative biostimulant for sustainable fruit production from vegetable crops (ID21014) anno 2022
Progetto The aim of this project is to launch on the market a novel biostimulant enhancing fruit vegetable yield under stressed or resource-limited conditions. The biostimulant will thus improve environmentally and economically sustainable cultivation of vegetables. The biostimulant is based on beneficial plant extracts possessing hormone-like effects that boost plant resilience to drought and nutrient stress resilience. The project roadmap includes the optimization of the biostimulant formulation, which will be distributed to the partners in order to validate its properties under operational conditions, to the purpose of widening its potential market to a variety of target crops. The biostimulant will be taken to TRL7 (system prototype demonstration in operational environment) at the end of 2021.
