Abstract:
Steve Jobs, architect of the new "Industrial design renaissance", despite his unlimited creativity in conceiving trendy, one-of-a-kind gadgets, was obsessed with death and fugacity. The only way to limit this process of degradation of reality, which brings about obsolescence and waste, is to pretend to exit the stage – not without a trace of melancholy – only to retrace one's steps the moment things seem to be drifting inexorably toward the end. At that point, the momentous words " but there’s one more thing" announce a new product – shown to the public as a relic protected by a dark shroud – ready to conquer the world. And the race against time begins anew...
