REPAK IT - ENTREPRENEURIAL SUMMER SCHOOL IN PACKAGING SUSTAINABILITY - Cod. 20253 - EITFOOD EDUCATION

Progetto
We have an urgent need to deliver innova􀆟ve food packaging solu􀆟ons that will be more sustainable. This is an urgent need that requires tremendous collabora􀆟ve efforts, in an environment s􀆟ll very fragmented, from municipali􀆟es recycling policies, to consumer demands, to technical challenges in supply chain and distribu􀆟on, and of course, food quality and safety of the product. The consor􀆟um is aware that many of the innova􀆟ve solu􀆟ons are proprietary in nature, and exchanged in B2B environments . We plan to build new content, co-created with industry, being inclusive of the most innova􀆟ve companies in Europe, this content that will be delivered in a summer school in food packaging entrepreneurship. The ac􀆟vi􀆟es will begin with a co-crea􀆟on shadow program, focused on finding the missing links in the food system and iden􀆟fy poten􀆟al solu􀆟ons, and misconcep􀆟ons. Our ambi􀆟on is to train groups of students from different backgrounds within the food research area in crea􀆟ve thinking, innova􀆟on and entrepreneurship, with the final objec􀆟ve of transla􀆟ng their findings into realworld business solu􀆟ons. Training will be delivered through a mix of in-class guest lecturers, which will include material producers, equipment producers, food science experts, municipali􀆟es and supply chain and marke􀆟ng. There will be two awards for the best solu􀆟ons provided a􀅌er the in depth analysis carried out on the en􀆟re food system the following week.
