The proposal aims at impacting perceptions and behaviours on gender-based violence (GBV), including sexual harassment in Italian universities. Since the #MeToo movement began in the US on 2017, awareness about GBV has been globally raising and the need to conduct systematic researches on the topic of GBV in research institutions and universities has become urgent at the European level (see last H2020 SwafS Workprogramme). In Italy the attention of the media has recently focused on the fact that GBV in academia has received very little attention and it is still a taboo: only 32 out of 85 universities have dedicated counselors and significant studies on the topic can be counted on the fingers of one hand (Corriere della sera, 11/12/2020).
